I started health coaching with Rahul because I wanted to make some healthy changes, especially after a tough period that had taken a toll on both my physical and mental health. Having just entered my 30s, I was ready to build habits that would actually support me long-term. Rahul and I met face-to-face on a weekly basis. Going in, I honestly expected to be handed a one-size-fits-all diet plan and some generic goals to follow. But I was pleasantly surprised when our sessions turned out to be so much more personal and thoughtful. Instead of focusing just on food, Rahul took the time to really understand me — my personality, traits, routines, and lifestyle. We started by looking at my overall health vision and what I wanted life to look like in the long run. From there, we broke it down into smaller, achievable weekly goals that felt manageable and realistic. Our sessions began with open conversations about what had gone well, what I’d found challenging, and how I was feeling overall — not just physically, but mentally too. I really enjoyed working with Rahul. His calm, friendly demeanour made it easy to open up and talk honestly about my health struggles and barriers. What I appreciated most was that the focus wasn’t solely on nutrition — it was about building habits that supported my whole wellbeing. Some of my goals even had nothing to do with food, like making more time for my hobbies and self-care. Each week felt like a small but meaningful step forward, and I genuinely felt proud every time I hit a goal. By the end of our sessions, I felt more confident and motivated to keep prioritising my health in a sustainable way. Along the way, I’ve also lost 6lbs, which feels great — but even better is how much healthier and more balanced I feel overall.

Rahul offers gentle suggestions, some of which are so simple and effective, but I have never thought of them myself. The best thing is that it really is a very personalised plan. He takes the time to guide you through figuring out what your wellbeing vision is and then puts in steps to achieve it. The steps are all very achievable which is what makes the difference. I feel much lighter (mentally and physically) and joyful and stronger after the sessions. Connecting the physical changes with the deeper reasons of why they are necessary is what differentiates this programme from others. I am on a personal development journey and the opportunity of working with a health coach came to me when I was looking to improve my fitness. I had already made changes to my diet and I felt healthy. When I started working with Rahul, I wasn’t sure what I expected from this coaching. The first 2 sessions really helped me pinpoint the reasons why I wanted to improve my fitness level. I could also open up about my health journey up to this point. Rahul approached our sessions with curiosity and without judgement, creating a supportive space for me to explore how I feel about my body and my mental health. Session after session, I felt more confident in myself and I found the motivation to go running. I have always said I don’t like running but truly I felt ashamed of getting out of breath quickly and not being able to run for more than a few metres. Rahul gently challenged me to set myself an ambitious objective because he knew I was ready. I came up with the objective myself and I approached it without judgement and with curiosity like Rahul: how long can I run? What is it going to feel like? Etc. I completed a 2 km run, doing much better than I expected. It gave me the confidence to try new things and to trust my body. This is a big win for me, but I also learned from Rahul that I have little wins every day. Every time I joined a yoga class, every time I do my morning routine, these are all little every day wins to congratulate myself for, instead of judging myself when I don’t do it. When I started this coaching, I wasn’t sure I needed a coach because I already felt healthy. Now that I have worked with Rahul, I would recommend him to my friends and family because he helped me understand what “healthy” means for me, my personal vision of health, and he built my self-confidence so I was able to free myself from my limiting beliefs, and I will carry on using what I have learned from him.
